The top six winning teams (three Gross Score winners and three Net Score winners) will advance to the State Playoff at Old Waverly Golf Course, September 28, 2009. The top four teams from the State Playoff (two Gross and two Net score winners) will advance to the National Scramble to be held at the TPC at Sawgrass in Ponte Vedra Beach, Florida, November 20-22, 2009.

Jake and his wife, Jane, had a heart for reaching coaches and their spouses. They believed that touching the lives of coaches and their spouses would impact families and the lives of athletes. Because of their calling and the ministry opportunities through FCA, the lives of many coaches, their spouses and athletes have been changed nationwide.

The Jake Mills FCA Golf Tournament was established in memory of Jake and his impact in Mississippi through FCA. A portion of the proceeds from the tournament will go into the Jake & Jane Mills Scholarship Fund, which provides scholarships for coaches to attend an FCA Coaches Camp.
